Mrs. Megan Pena is on the blog in her gorgeous wedding dress!  I know I say this about all of my sessions but I seriously loved this bridal session!  Megan was absolutely stunning in her beautifully romantic dress.  With her mom, and a few of mom’s best friends in tow, glasses of champagne and the lovely Poetry Springs Event Venue as the backdrop, this whole session turned into a memorable, fun experience!  Megan has a deep love for all things Disney princess so we had to create some princess moments to capture!  But what made this the most special for me is that I have known Megan for a long time and she is kind, and passionate, and loves Jesus and is full of joy!  She is confident and in control and is going to be the most excellent teacher! Her tribe of friends and family love her fiercely, with good reason.  It was a joy to be around her and her community! Hope you enjoy her bridal portraits!

Just like a true princess, she kissed a frog!

I am THRILLED I get to share with you Cassie’s bridals.  Beaux and Cassie got married last weekend and I have been waiting to reveal these pictures to the world and I am so excited you get to see this gorgeous bride! Cassie found me through a mutual friend and the moment I met her I knew I would love working with her.  She is kind, compassionate, fun and has a gorgeous smile!  I loved getting to capture these bridals for her in such beautiful historic Dallas locations.  Take a moment and check them out!

lui & mike | mckinney court house wedding photography

I had the incredible privilege of being the photographer for the sweetest, most intimate wedding ceremony a couple weeks ago.  Lui and Mike decided a big wedding wasn’t for them and so they set a date and time to get married at the Court House.  And it was so FUN!  This sweet, kind and deeply in love couple showed up with their marriage license, some rings, a bouquet and me (their photographer) in tow and had the most beautiful little wedding.  The judge did an incredible job of creating a special moment for Mike and Lui.  And although the judge didn’t say much, he said all of the right things to encourage their love, remind them of the covenant they were making and proudly pronounced them husband and wife.  When it was all said and done these two couldn’t stop giggling and kissing each other.  It was SO incredible to be a part of this moment for them!  Thanks Lui and Mike for inviting me along and for letting me capture this very special time for you!

kyle + kalenna | dallas wedding photography

I am so excited to share the pictures from this incredible wedding! Kyle and Kalenna have a comfortable love that only comes when you have been together for as long as they have. Comfort doesn’t mean boring. It is beautiful and intimate and there is deep sense of knowing one another.  And these two are SO COOL!  I loved hearing about their lives and their business ventures and can’t begin to tell you how honored I was to be a part of their wedding! Their “outdoor” wedding day ended up being a rainy one and so it got moved inside and it was gorgeous! With the beautiful Filter Building at White Rock Lake as their venue, the styling of Silver Lining Event + Co, and the BREATHTAKING flowers from Oh Deery, every detail was to die for!  Plus, Kyle and Kalenna were so fun to watch at their reception. They know how to have a good time! They have an incredible community around them and they all danced the night away.

Kyle and Kalenna, Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day!  I smiled CONSTANTLY!  I still can’t get over the amazing food from One90 Smoked Meats at your wedding and can’t wait to get down to your shop to have some more.  Thank you so much for trusting me with your wedding day!
